F Series Mounted

F4

The F4 is a specialized fertilizer spreader intended for professional use where high demands are placed on efficiency and profitability. The spreader has been developed to meet the various requirements for graded fertilising, wedge spreading, wedge spreading and residual width spreading.

Bredal's F4 is built with 2 belts that are controlled independently of each other, so that different quantities can be dosed simultaneously on the right and left side. The belts are pulled by an oil motor, which is regulated via a proportional valve.

The downspout position is controlled by two electric motors and operated automatically by the spreader's computer. When a working width is selected, the downspouts are automatically set to this. On the lift-suspended fertilizer spreader, F4, the discharge position is controlled individually on the right and left side, this is used e.g. by edge spreading.

An automatic flow correction is built into the downspout management software, so that the downspout position automatically adapts to the current seed quantity. In practice, this means that there are no changes in the spread pattern, regardless of whether a small or large amount is driven.

The downspouts' electric motors are made of plastic and stainless steel and are well protected by shielding.

All the rear lid's moving parts are made of plastic or stainless steel, which in practice means minimal maintenance.

The ISOBUS control of the spreader has an integrated tilt sensor which is used to correct the weighing signal so that the correct weight is always displayed, even when driving on sloping terrain.

In addition, the seed quantity is adjusted using the tilt sensor, so that the spreader doses the correct quantity, regardless of whether it is driven uphill or downhill.

If the machine is equipped with load cells, the dosage is constantly monitored and corrected while driving.

The sensors used for i.a. to measure platter revolutions, belt speed, etc. has a stainless housing. To further protect the sensors, they are molded into a plastic housing which is sealed with silicone. All cables for sensors, load cells, etc. are routed in a protective flex hose to achieve maximum operational reliability.

All hydraulic hoses are led forward towards the tractor in a fixed arm, which is a suspension for the hoses when the machine is disconnected from the tractor.

The F4 is equipped as standard with  "A" plates for  spreading commercial fertiliser , an  SPC4500-1 spreader with 24-36 meter edge gear for  edge spreading  and then the spreader is prepared for section control.

With a container size of 1,500 to 4,000 liters and working widths from 12 to 36 metres, the F4 covers most needs.

Bredal's F4 models are available with containers in either a red lacquered or stainless version.

Additional equipment for our lift-suspended fertilizer spreaders includes box elevation, which makes it possible to increase the container volume if more capacity is needed. Furthermore, a platform with a ladder is offered at the back of the spreader, which makes it easier to load from large sacks.

It is also possible to have a tarpaulin fitted to protect  the material in the container during spreading and road transport. This tarpaulin is also available as a hydraulic tarpaulin.

The hydraulic spreading unit enables the desired disc revolutions to be entered directly into the ISOBUS terminal, both for field and edge spreading.
